Pittards WR100X leathers not only shrug off moisture and allow perspiration to escape, but do so without any change in the structure of the leather.
WATER RESISTANT
The WR100X tanning process has been specially engineered to offer improved water repellency properties, which keep the hands protected at all times. The water resistant process enhances the insulation characteristics of the leather, guaranteeing that the hands remain warm in cold weather conditions and cool in warm weather conditions, thus sustaining sensitivity and dexterity whatever the activity. Conversely these permanent structural properties allow the leather to breathe by letting the moisture pass through the fibre structure, thus keeping the hands cool and comfortable.

CONSTRUCTION . . . . .

Each pair of Chester Jefferies leather gloves is made from 16 individual pieces. This complex mode of manufacture is something undertaken by only a few glovemakers, and it is this feature that sets Chester Jefferies’ gloves apart from the rest. By incorporating so many separate panels into the finger sections of the glove, free movement in all directions for the fingers is inbuilt, whilst reducing the stresses placed on the seams. This in turn ensures a more durable glove with a much longer lifetime than gloves which are not designed in this way.

Raised machine points not only look stylish, but improve the fit of the glove across the back of the hand.
